We had a major “wind event” in Boulder today. 60-109 MPH winds!!!! But here in Colorado we’re hardy stock and school was STILL on! Even without power in some places.

✨There’s something about a Colorado sunset that slows everything down… the colors, the quiet, the moment you feel your breath again. 🌅✨

✨Life gets crazy, hectic, and stressful…and as a mom, I’ve noticed my kids calm down when I calm down — like our nervous systems sync for a minute.
✨Little moments like this matter more than we think.

Fun fact:
• Warm sunset colors actually activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the ‘rest and relax’ part of your body.
• Pink + orange gradients boost dopamine and creative flow.
• Watching natural color shifts can lower stress and help regulate emotions (for us and our teens).
