You thought it. I said it.

You thought it. I said it. Your thoughts. My voice. Keeping it real since day one. You think it; why not say it, post it, feel it, love it. Life is short, say what you mean and own it.

Grief is tricky.
You feel everything.
There’s no numbing, no escape. Just you… and the ache that shows up out of nowhere.

It doesn’t always look like crying.
Sometimes it’s snapping at someone for no reason.
Sometimes it’s laying in bed staring at the ceiling, wondering why everything feels heavy.

I’ve learned to stop judging the way grief shows up.
It’s different for everyone and that’s okay.
Some days it’s enough just to make it through.

This , I’m reminding myself and anyone who needs it:
You can miss someone and still move forward.
You can carry the weight and still create joy.
You can grieve and grow at the same time.

Every tear we’ve shed is not just grief, it’s a call to action.

To live louder.
To love harder.

To show up for the people still here.

Living fully is the greatest tribute we can give to those we’ve lost.

Being seen is nice. But feeling like you belong… that hits different.

Not judged.
Not questioned.

Just accepted for exactly who you are, where you’re at.

When I was at my lowest, I didn’t need someone to “fix” me.
I needed someone to sit with me.
To say, “You still matter. You still belong.”

Belonging isn’t about fitting into spaces that weren’t made for you.
It’s about finding or creating spaces where you don’t have to hide.

This , I’m reminding myself and anyone who needs it:
You don’t need to clean up your story to be worthy of connection.
You don’t need to perform to be accepted.
You belong… right here, just as you are.

Keep showing up.
The real ones will make room.

We all have something unique to offer.

A spark.
A passion.
A purpose.

And when you share it, you give others permission to do the same.

Finding your light doesn’t mean being loud.
It means getting honest about what lights you up and leaning into it.

This , let’s remind each other:
Your passion has power.
Your story has meaning.
And when you share what makes you come alive, you help others do the same.

Whether it’s art, music, writing, cooking, connecting, building, or healing, your light deserves to be seen.

Here are some tools to help you explore your spark:

• Free Creative Workshops – The Foundry (Cambridge) – Local free/low-cost workshops to explore new skills https://www.cambridgefoundry.org/events
• Creative Recovery Resources – The Phoenix - Massachusetts – Free fitness and creative events for people in recovery https://thephoenix.org/find-a-class/
• VolunteerMatch Boston – Give back in ways that fuel your spirit https://www.volunteermatch.org/search?l=Boston%2C+MA

Let your light rise.
Let your gifts grow.
The world needs MORE of what only you can give.

Speaking up for yourself is not selfish; it’s survival.
Self-advocacy is an act of self-respect. It’s how we protect our peace, ask for what we need, and honor our worth.

Whether it’s saying “no,” asking for help, or setting a boundary; you are allowed to take up space in your own life.

This , let’s remind each other:
You don’t have to shrink to be supported.
You don’t need permission to advocate for your needs.
You are not “too much.” You are enough—and your voice matters.

You deserve to be heard.
You deserve to be supported.
You deserve to stand up… for you.

You don’t have to have it all together to be making progress, just showing up matters.

Strength isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s getting out of bed.
Sometimes it’s choosing not to give up.

This , let’s remind each other:
Healing looks different for everyone. And you are doing better than you think.

You are worthy.
You are strong.
You are not alone.
