As I reflect on what I have been through over the past few years, I don't know what I would do without music!

Here's a snippet from the archives. I founded Second World, Fashionably Fair & Culture Fest International out of my discoveries as a filmmaker traveling the world working in sustainable development.

🙏Grateful for all of you who have reached out to support the Tragedy to Triumph fundraiser which just launched through a grant that - if we reach our goal, your donation will be TRIPLED allowing me to get back on my feet to recover equipment ruined by disaster! We are so looking forward to making more beautiful music with you all in the coming years in whatever corner of the world you are in!

On the road again 🎶 Torino, Italy B.B.S. (back before selfies) 😀 on this directed and shot a "Anna's Story" telling the story of a family devastated by an accident that left their 5 year old child unable to walk or breathe on her own, but full of energy, hope and joy at what assistive technologies could do in her life. Voice activated toys and computer use are the tip of the iceberg.... This quiet moment here represents one of the many walks I had throughout the streets of Torino during that time.

For so long, women being filmmakers was simply part of the norm, and while recent studies have made it clear that the industry needs a wake-up call when it comes to the skills of some of our finest working (who just so happen to be women), strides continue to be made.

Films by Julie Dash, Chantal Akerman, Chloe Zhao, Forough Farrokhzad, Jennifer Lee, and many other female filmmakers made the list.
