Richi LifeSciences is an initiative for companies from around the world with high-impact solutions in Biotech, Medtech, and Digital Health sectors.

Richi LifeSciences is a Richi Foundation initiative whose mission is to boost Life Sciences startups from around the world by connecting them with Boston’s unique innovation ecosystem. During a two-week immersion program in Boston, companies connect and initiate meaningful relationships with Boston’s key innovation players - investors, market players, advisors, industry experts, and private & public institutions. 2025 Edition November 12th to November 21st.

"Richi LifeSciences has been a game changer." That's the resounding feedback from this edition's cohort, and after two transformative weeks in Boston, we couldn't agree more!

The selected companies leave the program having successfully polished their pitches and gained hands-on strategies for US expansion. This second week focused intensely on launching in the US, mastering startup valuation, navigating legal and immigration regulation, and securing funding—including an essential negotiation workshop and a session on non-dilutive funds.

Participants met with numerous investors and industry experts who provided custom project feedback, and they toured state-of-the-art facilities like LabCentral and The Engine.

What a productive first week for the Richi LifeSciences Fall 2025 Edition!

Our cohort, formed by selected companies Acellera, BDUK Therapeutics, CCRP Therapeutics, Lysine Biotech, and Pharma In silica, successfully completed a deep dive into the US market. They gained crucial insights into the US innovation ecosystem, learned effective outreach strategies, and worked hands-on to build tailored US investor decks and refine their pitches. We also covered the fundamentals of US Venture Capital and key factors for successful clinical studies.

As just wrapped up, we're excited to share that this past Monday, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones organized an exclusive side event, powered by Richi Entrepreneurs, at the Ragon Institute in Cambridge for Spanish Life Sciences Companies!

We kicked off the morning by diving deep into Boston's vibrant life sciences hub with Chris Ilsley, followed by uncovering the secrets of venture capital in a fireside chat with Travis Hugues, moderated by Ricardo Garcia. After a fantastic breakfast break for networking, Ricardo then led a crucial session on raising funds in the US, delving into venture philanthropy and impact investment. This led perfectly into a concluding fireside chat where Ricardo continued this important discussion with Katie Ellias and Nate Macht.

We're immensely grateful to Marco Munoz, Executive Director for Strategic Initiatives at the Ragon Institute, for welcoming us and showcasing their vital work. A huge thank you to Jennifer Ramirez and Gail Sanders from the Ragon Institute for their invaluable help with all the event logistics!
