Someone left a scrap of leather at the makerspace. Too small for most projects, too good to throw away.
So I traced a watch strap pattern, transferred it onto the leather, and cut it out with an X-Acto knife. Peeled the paper off, folded the pieces, and stitched it all together on an old Searlite machine.
What started as scrap is now a strap I actually wear.
