I’m so excited to share that I’ve joined the Recording Academy’s 2026 New Member Class.

It’s an honor to be part of a community of music creators and professionals who are helping support, uplift, and advocate for the people who make and shape music.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my voice, contribute to the Grammy Awards process, and be part of conversations that help move our industry forward.

Music is shaped by so many voices, genres, backgrounds, and perspectives, and I’m proud to add mine to the mix.

Outside level of difficulty been on “All Madden” 25/8

Really ain’t a game out here.

Value those who value you.

Things have been difficult for me every step of the way, but I’m still going to show up regardless because in the end that’s all people remember, that’s all they respect, & I know wouldn’t require anything less from myself personally.

When I’m gone in the physical form they’ll put this notebook in a museum, teach courses and debate page by page — was Phifth an innovator or just a n*gga who was in the midst of a psychotic break ???

How can someone be self aware to notice they’re different, but also to not give af. To know the fragility of their mental state, but strong enough to build barriers to smile through it. At my lowest they’ll call it genius … at my highest they’ll say psychotic … guess it just depends on who you ask. Either way the art will make you feel aways — whether you love it or hate it. No gray areas. It’s PRPLE till it all goes pitch black!

By default things always end up in some type of alignment. To be honest I do a lot of writing that feels like I’m on autopilot. The words & ideas all just kind of flow together. It’s to the point now where all my pieces are poems that sound like conversations. Reflective & reflex is my creative process. I know it’s “chicken scratch” 😂, but it’s cause the ideas be flowing with the quickness.

In the past when I became so focused on writing raps that’s that how my they come off like I had something to prove. Not realizing that being a poet was my cheat code. Now it’s more like “Prose Rap” with a Heron Flow. I’ll let y’all cipher through that one. It’ll make sense soon enough.
