Happy Sorrows looked great on the big screen yesterday. This is a project that was shot and edited for a theater experience so it was great to see it play at the newly renovated Mariemont Theatre by Cindependent during the Official 2Phresh Philm Phest Page 🎬. Congratulations to our entire Happy Sorrows team and thank you to everyone who came out to support this film. Our lead actor Mel Hamilton led the Q/A discussion about the project and our director cammarshallfilm took home an artist trailblazer award.

Why is Jrue (Mel Hamilton) entertaining all these dates?!?

🎬 Film friends, here’s the biggest way you can help Hear And See Productions grow.

Step 1: Subscribe to our YouTube channel.

That’s it. Seriously.

Why does it matter? YouTube has become one of the biggest platforms for discovering independent filmmakers. In 2026, the directors behind two of the year’s most profitable breakout films, Obsession and Backrooms, built their audiences by creating and sharing short films on YouTube.

We’re now on our fourth film, and we’ve documented every step of the journey with behind-the-scenes content, filmmaking insights, and exclusive updates. Our next goal is simple: turn our social media community into a YouTube community.

🎯 Goal: 500 subscribers by the end of Summer 2027.

We’re currently under 50 subscribers, so every single subscription makes a difference.

If you’ve enjoyed our films, followed our journey, or just want to support independent filmmaking, please subscribe today.
