Yesterday’s gig took me to Southside K-8 school in War, WV where Senator Jim Justice came to speak to the students and present an award. Of course the students and staff were more excited to see Big Jim’s sidekick “Baby Dog”. Most everyone got a chance to pet and get a picture made with BD as well. Running sound from behind the Spartan backdrop didn’t allow for me to see much of the show. This was truly like being “backstage” the entire time. Much thanks to my good friend and Principal, Gary Estep for the invite to be involved in this big event. 😁

Last night at Bee Noodle’d in Tazewell, we held our 1st Trivia Night. Categories ranged from Current Events to Famous Stage Names and more. Despite the very cold conditions, we had a great turnout and some very happy winners as well. Congratulations to these top 5 winners:

Trying to catch up on some events from last week. “Pop Culture Trivia Night” @ Ole No 3 Bluefield last Thursday was a great success. We want to congratulate our winners…Andre Roach 1st place winning a $25 Amazon gift card and bag of Hershey’s assorted candy. Ashlee Porterfield 2nd place winning a $15 ON3 gift card and bag of candy. Timmy Swartz 3rd place winning a $5 ON3 gift card and bag of candy. Planning coming out to our next Trivia night on Thursday, October 23rd.
