They don’t just use lungs like we do—they absorb oxygen directly through their moist skin, especially when they’re underwater or hibernating.

Bonus twist: Some frogs can even freeze solid in winter and survive. Their bodies produce a natural “antifreeze” that protects their cells until they thaw out in spring!
