The first of about 100 pots I’m working on for an upcoming weeklong wood fire workshop. I’m using new (to me) carving tools that my brain hasn’t quite figured yet, but I’ve got a ton more pots to practice on. At least I hope so…. I better get to throwing…. 🫠🫠

Guess who’s back?! I’ve been cleared to start doing pottery again! 🎉🥳

Back in November, I had a CMC thumb joint replacement/ligament reconstruction and MCP joint fusion, which is why I’ve been MIA. I’ve still got a ways to go in terms of building strength, but I’m excited to start throwing again!! (Though, equally un-excited about all the reclaim that’s been neglected for months…..🫠🫠🫠)

Shout out to my surgeon, all the nurses, and OT staff at Reconstructive Hand to Shoulder of Indiana! I’ll likely need my right hand done in the next few years, so I’m happy to know I’ll be in good hands again. 🤍

Tomorrow is the last day to shop at the IN Store before Christmas! I have a few pieces of pottery left there.

I’ll also be selling at the Upland Woodshop tomorrow from 12-6 (the location on 11th St)
