Lately it feels like we are in such a dark season
Everywhere I look there is pain hurt loss and people carrying things nobody else can see
Sometimes when everything feels so heavy it can be easy to wonder where God is
But the Bible tells us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted
He is there in the tears
He is there in the silence
He is there when we do not know what to pray
He is there when all we can do is sit and cry
We do not have to hide our brokenness from Him
We can bring Him the parts of us that hurt the most because He cares for us
This painting is a reminder that even when life feels dark we are never sitting in that darkness alone
He sees you
He knows your pain
He has not left you
And He is still holding you through it
The darkness may be real but so is His presence
And there is still hope 🤍

sometimes God calls us to take a step before we can see the whole path ahead of us. faith is choosing to move forward even when we don’t know where the next step will lead
this piece is a reminder that we don’t have to see the whole road to trust the One who does 🌿
