Just delivered these miniature Pinwheel Barn Quilts to another wonderful customer! 💜🦁

This alum commissioned them as gifts for special faculty members at YHC. Such a thoughtful way to celebrate the people who helped shape their journey! 👩‍🎓

The traditional Pinwheel symbolizes the turning of the seasons, the passage of time, and the natural rhythms of agricultural life. I love seeing this timeless Appalachian folk art paired with a little Mountain Lion pride! Go Mountain Lions! 💟🦁🎨⛰️

Birds of a feather, we should stick together. 🫂🕊️❤️Just shipped off this special order of cardinal barn quilts to another wonderful client! She’s gifting them to friends who recently purchased their mountain cabins, and I can’t imagine a more thoughtful way to welcome them to Appalachia.
Each piece is a custom work of traditional American folk art, hand-painted in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It means so much to know these cardinals are headed to new homes where they’ll bring a little warmth, color, and mountain charm for years to come. ❤️❤️❤

One of my favorite custom projects yet. ❤️🎨

These matching Double Crocus barn quilts were created for a very special mother-and-daughter duo, and I couldn’t love how they turned out more. 🥰

I shipped them off to Florida this afternoon, and while it’s always a little bittersweet to see a favorite piece leave, there’s something so special about knowing they’re headed exactly where they belong.

Creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces of American folk art like these is such a joy. I hope these barn quilts bring beauty, warmth, and wonderful memories to their new home for years to come. 🌸⛰️👨‍🎨

I loved bringing this one to life! 😍👨‍🎨 This 12”×12” Appalachian barn quilt is sealed, weather-resistant, and ready to add a little love indoors or out.

So many people at the market have shared that they love switching out their barn quilts with the changing seasons. ☀️🍂❄️🌷 I think that’s such a fun idea, and it definitely has us wanting to step up our own seasonal décor! 😂
