Good character decisions sit near the peak of the character’s personal probability distribution, while occasional outliers (high‑variance moves) add spice.

Once your characters come alive, you're not writing anymore. You're just watching the movie in your head and recording what you see. Probability can help figure out what happens next faster.

Ol' Dustbringer here is working the Tidekicks and
Vendors for Hugs & Missiles this morning. It is absurd
😂

Tidekicks are your special friends that provide you with
access to trade skills in Hugs & Missiles. You can liken
them to the Blacksmith, Enchanter, and Jeweler from
Diablo.

One of your Tidekicks is the physicist. This trade skill
provides access to your "techy" weapons. Things like
Laser Cannons, Rifles, Railguns? You catch my drift.

Well, this fellow's name is Merl. But Merl, he's just a
little odd...

See, Merl thinks he's a wizard, and to unlock him, you
have to convince him that your mech is a worthy
apprentice. Then he will teach your mech the "mystical
arts", aka bolt on that railgun and teach your mech to
shoot "magic missiles".

Jetsam is such a "quaint" little town. Can't wait to see
ya there, pilots!

Don't let the storms kick ya around too much.
