Their simple mission statement was to find the happy medium between both sonic worlds, to walk with one foot in somber density and the other in a place of blissful, uplifting tranquility. Something simple yet loud with complexity, grunge qualities, even abrasive at times, but offset with beauty and calm. They have 3 EPs under their belt. 2016 saw EMBR set forth their '261' EP, in 2017 The '271' EP
was recorded. Due to a separating of ways with some of the members in 2019, singer Crystal Bigelow and multi-instrumentalist Erik Bigelow ventured into making the band work as a duo for a short time, producing the EP 326 Spiritual Dialysis. In 2020 they released their first full length album 1823 with the UK label NEW HEAVY SOUNDS. In 2021 they released an EP titled IDOLATRY consisting of 4 grunge era covers and a 3 song EP for NEW HEAVY SOUNDS 10th anniversary entitled 1021. They have recorded a version of MARY DID YOU KNOW and a cover of the DOWN classic BURY ME IN SMOKE with their friends in DAYGLO MOURNING.
