A PSALM OF EARTH AND SKY

O Lord, my heart is lifted up in praise,
for beauty clothes the earth at Your command.
The sky declares Your glory and displays
Your love beyond what we can understand.
Before Your heaven's vastness, I feel small,
but stars reveal precision in your plans:
the sun ascends in answer to Your call,
the planets all proceed at your demand.
When life becomes too difficult to bear
I stop and breathe the quiet of Your peace,
I feel Your presence in the morning air.
As dawn breaks, shadows flee and worries cease.
Though storms may rise, and darkness blocks the light,
I will not fear, for You are near to me.
Your hand can calm the fury of the night,
Your love endures through all eternity.
