Today is apparently Bike To Work day... My booth set up is a bit much to bike with, especially with a toddler in tow and step son to drop off at school... And 20-something miles from start to finish. BUT, if you're in town, you should totally bike to the market! That way, you don't need to worry about finding parking 😁

My bags start with a really rough sketch. I fill in a bit of base white for areas that I need the color to pop. Then I fill in the color. I use a fabric medium mix in, and a bit of heat to make sure it's set. All 3 sizes are insulated, easy to clean, and durable.

Could I have been better prepared? Always. But I learned so much, and have a whole lot of people to thank for their support. My family is amazing and I'm so thankful. My friends and everyone that came by to say hi and/or to make a purchase, my neighbor vendors who were so kind and helpful, the market managers who checked in on me... Everyone was so amazing.

I need to bust ass painting bags this week and improve my signage, but I'll be there on Wednesday with an improved setup and sunny disposition even if it's rainy again. Come by to grab some yummy market food, locally grown produce and mushrooms, and maybe a new print or insulated bag painted by yours truly.

Ahhhh! My first day at the Tanana Valley Farmers Market! I've sold 4 bags, 1 print, and 3 pairs of moms earrings! We're here for 2 more hours and we'd love to see you here!
