Hope to see you at the Honeybee Day celebration on August 15th. This will be the first time I've attempted "demonstration carving", so wish me luck!

Some belated pictures from the Erin Wood Festival! It was a truly wonderful experience carving alongside other carvers for the first time as part of a public event. My two "masterpieces" were a large fish and a pelican, and I did an owl as my 1 hour quick carve. I couldn't be happier about their new home. The pelican will be part of an engagement gift, and fish went to a little boy whose dad said "pick whatever you want! The bear-with-fish is a commission I stated working on immediately after the festival, after gaining some confidence with larger carvings. I cannot thank the other carvers and the organizers of this event enough. I learned so much there and made some new friends.
