Here I have collected just a handful of classes that I’ve had here at Red Rock Studio over the years. Goodness…what fun it’s been. Adults & kids alike come through the door and are transported to a unique creative space. There is an initial “buzz” of excitement, of wonder…”what is this place?” Taking a walk-about, I see the magic begin. A stirring of curiosity. Welcoming words, gratitude for choosing this time, chatting a bit about myself & RRS, we get started. Some jump right in, some hesitant, not quite sure. I’m there for the encouraging, the gentle check in. And inevitably….creating begins. The room is busy, energy high. Then comes the calm. The flow. Everyone settled into their unique craft. It’s worthy of a bit of a jig, which I’m know to do! 😂 I just can’t help myself. The fun I have seeing what becomes will always delight me.

Curious? Message me to learn more or to schedule a visit.

As promised…a very small handful of photos of the many kids who have been to RRS over the years. I’ll have to do this again as there are so many gems. ✨

Every single time a session ends…I’m swirling, (and a bit exhausted 😂), with delight and pure amazement at the magic that unfolds…every time. Whether it is a chosen project or OPEN STUDIO, these kids have created innumerous crafts, art and goodies….Each leaning into their own intuitive greatness.

At Red Rock Studio, I provide the materials, a bit of inspiration, and then…..it happens. Every time.

There is such power in being allowed to “try something”, to experiment, “what will happen if I?”, “well, that didn’t work, so I’ll try it another way.”. Yes, we all love to make things just right, but isn’t it a wonderful thing to not, and still be ok with it. That is part of the RRS experience. Freedom, expression, experience, encouragement, laughter, messiness, gluey-ness.

Reach out for more information for yourself or for some young creatives in your life. Schedule a little visit to see & feel what it’s all about.

Finding myself recovering from a recent nerve surgery…I have have once again found myself needing to be “still”.

And so, within a day or two I was reaching for or having brought to me, things to cut up. I have ALWAYS found that creating, making things to be my go to for just about any moment in my life. This is especially true when I’m restless, anxious, sad even. The sound of the scissors, the feeling of cutting the paper, the delight I find in the art in a new form. 🤗

I’ve also had time to reflect on the things I’ve made over the years. My photos only go back so far but, boy, is that fun. To see the many, many different things I’ve tried, fallen in love with, moved onto something else….its my favorite. New discoveries that delight my eyes. Overarchingly I know what I love, what I’m drawn to. Color, patterns, circles, collage, watercolor, pens, paint pens, stamping, sewing, crafting, baking! A common theme seems to be…wherever the wind blows…that’s where I’ll be. For a while. Then trying something else. Bottom line,…I’m never, ever bored. 😌🙂✨

And so, while I’m laid up, I’ll be sharing photos from the archives. My work and then some favs from classes/workshops throughout the years here at Red Rock Studio.

If you see anything you’d like to try, give me a shout, send a message and we can figure something out together.

Message me..you can do this 🤗✨
