Happy Summer! School is out for me and I’m ready for some relaxation, organization (of everything I neglect during the school year) and MORE MOSAICS! I was called “Summer Mom” today by one of my kids. I giggled and then realized how true it is. As a cancer, summer is my season! I feel different, I feel rejuvenated and invigorated!

So here is my first mosaic of the summer! A serving tray for a new beach house, inspired by a son’s drawing! I’m in love and obsessed and was very tempted to keep this for myself (only sorta kidding)! But don’t worry! There will be more summer inspired mosaics coming soon!

Hi Friends! This Sunday, May 31st, I’m back at the Saucon Valley Farmers Market ready start to my summer of mosaics! As some of you know, I’m a high school teacher so finding time for mosaics during the school year is a challenge! But this summer while I take a break from the biology classroom, I’m ready to recommit to my other passion: mosaics! I have new things coming, including workshops! A HUGE thank you to Jane, Erica, Kim, Roshelle, Jude, and Jubilee who participated in my FIRST EVER mosaic workshop! Among the smiles and laughter, there were some moments of frustration in learning something new, but they embraced it, took risks, gave it their best, and I think their flower frames speak for themselves! I cant wait to grout them and show you all their finished products! Last photo is Jane’s creation who was brave enough to take her grout home and do it herself. It looks amazing, Jane! And Happy Birthday! I’m so happy to be a part of this gift of time and joy from your daughters!
