Over 50 years ago in the midst of a new music evolution brought on by Woodstock, 3 Lehigh Valley, Pa entrepreneurs possessing sharp senses of popular music, performance artistry and commerce developed Media Five Entertainment from a home-grown boutique entertainment company into a worldwide respected music organization. Initially created as a booking agency in 1970, Media Five discovered and championed some of the hardest working bands over the last 50+ years, booked nearly 200,000 shows, worked with over 500 bands, promoted or produced over 300 concerts, and RIAA credits the company as management for over 25 million album sales by their clients. In addition to booking and managing regional acts in the 1970s, Media Five created a sister company under the name of Extensions of Man Concerts. Promoting hundreds of shows headlining national artists such as Billy Joel, Aerosmith, and Kiss, Extensions of Man nurtured the relationship between performer and audiences, providing indelible one of a kind live experiences. In the first two decades of the company's history, astute agents/managers learned to successfully navigate booking, artist development, song writing, recording, record promotion, publicity, live performance, and DIY marketing. Under Media Five's guidance, Pennsylvania bands LIVE and Fuel sold over 25 million records worldwide highlighted by two #1 Billboard Top 200 Albums and over 35 #1 Singles on Billboard's charts. As the millennia and the Music Industry changes, Media Five continues to do what it has always done: adapt and strive to discover, develop, and celebrate diverse, talented artists.
