I love this mission. One of the questions for entry into food pantry eligibility: "What is your plan to get off the food pantry?" Helping people help themselves.
We've noticed a lot of new followers recently, so we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share who we are!
We’re ProJeCt of Easton, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people help themselves since 1968. Here’s what we do—all free of charge thanks to the incredible support of our community partners, volunteers, and donors:
🌟 Food Pantry: A full-choice pantry offering dignity and nourishment to those in need.
📚 Adult Education: GED and ESL classes that open doors to opportunity.
👶 Family Literacy: Strengthening families through literacy, including a preschool program.
🤝 Case Management: Providing personalized support to help individuals and families overcome barriers.
🎒 Student Success Program: Helping middle school students make positive choices.
☀️ SIZZLE!®: A summer reading program that keeps K-5 students engaged in their learning year-round.
