Washington DC Veterans Memorials bus trip
On Saturday October 17 Stuart Tank Memorial Association will have a FREE bus trip travelling to Washington DC to visit the National World War II Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. These Memorials are situated around the Reflecting Pool between the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.
The bus will depart from the Stuart Tank Memorial Museum at 7am on Saturday October 17 and return to the Museum at approximately 8pm. Bus service has been arranged through AJ Limo. This will be the second in a series of three bus trips funded through a generous grant from the Pearls with a Passion Fund of the First Community Partnership of Pennsylvania. The grant is focused on Veterans from Columbia, Lycoming, Northumberland, Tioga and Union Counties. Seats are also available for family, friends and caregivers. Stuart Tank Memorial Association volunteers will accompany and assist on the trip.
