This is Jesse Brady Jesse Brady For the last several years she’s been my assistant. She is a Producer, an Engineer, a Songwriter and in general terms, a total badass. She’s leaving for New York for the summer and came by the studio this morning to say good bye. She made these awesome lab coats and to surprised me with! Geoff Emerick would be so proud (IYKYK)!! She even made a small bandanna for my dog Lily! I’m lucky she’ll still be able to help thru the summer with mix preps etc. Have a fantastic summer Jesse! I’ll see you in the fall. Oh, and she put out a new single today called “Aurora Borealis”. Make sure you check it out!!

This Charles Whittfield custom made 52 Tele (belonging to legend Richard Young -The Kentucky Headhunters) is making some serious Keith Richard vibes today at the studio. My ‘51 Custom Shop Nocaster is 6 lbs 8 oz and compared to his, mine feels like a boat anchor. Richard brought the heat today and this guitar sang like a bird!!

First day back in the studio and all I’d ever wish for is another day like today! After a few days off….. ok, 11 days…I read an amazing book, I stood on multiple islands staring at the sea and I surrounded myself with people I not only love, but I’m deeply inspired by. I feel like a 40ft tsunami… chin up, face first… screaming down a hot wheels track dragging 2025 behind me in a garbage bag (whilst laughing my ass off of course). 2025, you were amazing. 2026, you might want to bite down on a piece of wood or take a stiff drink. My bingo card is already nervously asking WTF
