A little secret I’ve been keeping… 🌿📚

I’m so excited to finally announce that Dee’s Blind Dates is now available at Hungerford Nature Center in Berlin, CT! 💚

I’ve created a special collection of kids Nature-Themed Book Bundles just for this collaboration! Each bundle is filled with a surprise educational, nature-inspired children’s book designed to spark curiosity, encourage outdoor exploration, and make learning about the natural world an exciting adventure.

This partnership couldn’t be a better fit. Hungerford Nature Center’s mission is to engage the community by sparking curiosity, nurturing understanding, and encouraging stewardship of our natural world. Through hands-on exhibits, live animal encounters, nature trails, Little Naturalists classes, STEM programming, story times, camps, and family events, they’re inspiring the next generation to connect with and care for nature.

Every box, every stack, and every single book represents another chance to be loved instead of discarded. 📚

At Dee’s Blind Dates LLC, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. The mission is to reduce book waste by giving gently loved books a second life and connecting them with new readers.
💚Did you know 320 MILLION books/800,000 TONS of paper waste is produced PER YEAR in the USA alone?! And the Books that end up in landfills create methane gases!
💚Reuse & re-homing of books extends material life, & reduces the demand of paper production which uses mass amounts of trees,energy & water.

While some books become part of the specially curated Book bundles, the ones that don’t will soon find new homes through schools, libraries, non-profits, community programs, little free libraries, book swaps and readers who may not otherwise have access to them.
