It was a beautiful Summer evening in Downtown Berkley. Classic cars, live music from BandWagon, dancing in the streets, great food and the Sand Lot movie on 12 Mile. The ultimate Community connection! Thank you for coming out and celebrating another wonderful Berkley CruiseFest with us.

Each year we create parking spaces along Woodward Ave. between 12 Mile Rd. & Webster Rd. during the Cruise weekend. We have a limited number of spaces this year still available. If you are interested, please call the Parks & Recreation Department at 248-658-3470 to purchase a space for $150. See flyer for additional details. 🚗🏁

Stay cool, Berkley! As the weather heats up and high temperatures are forecasted for the rest of the week, we want to remind you that the Berkley Library and City Hall are open with air conditioning! Please utilize either building as a cooling center if you need it.

Berkley Library hours: (3155 Coolidge Hwy)
6/29: 10 AM - 8 PM
6/30: 10 AM - 8 PM
7/1: 10 AM - 8 PM
7/2: 10 AM - 6 PM

City Hall is open from 8:30 AM - 5 PM (and closed from 1-2 PM) on weekdays at 3338 Coolidge Hwy.

🤩 The City of Berkley will roll back in time for its annual CruiseFest Classic Car Parade on August 14, 2026, at 6:30 PM. For more than 25 years, the Berkley CruiseFest has brought car enthusiasts of all ages to Downtown Berkley for a summer evening filled with vintage automobiles, delicious food, and community connection on 12 Mile Rd. berkleymi.gov/cruisefest

With a variety of activities planned after the parade, this free event has something for everyone! This year’s lineup includes:
🚗 Classic Car Parade at 6:30 PM, traveling west on 12 Mile from Woodward Ave. to Greenfield Rd.

🎥 Outdoor movie starting at 7:30 PM, in front of the Neighbor’s Shoppe at 2833 12 Mile Rd.

🎸 Live music from BandWagon starting at 7:30 PM, located at the corner of Robina Ave. and 12 Mile Rd.

🥳 Dancing in the streets starting at 7:30 PM, located at the corner of Griffith Ave. and 12 Mile Rd.

🍟 A variety of food trucks will also be located at the corner of Robina Ave. and 12 Mile Rd. before and after the parade.
