Just me rebelling against conventional pluralization of octopus. So it's one octopus and 3 octopeople. Octopeople are not octopus-human hybrids, nor do they exhibit any human behaviors beyond what we already have observed. Really just me pluralizing octopus in a bizarre way, letting you all see my weirdness immediately. Unless you want to be an octopus-human hybrid. I've seen them in animal crossing so I know you can be one too.

Here is baby number 1, my first attempt at a kaleidocycle. It came out really cute, but I spent soooo much time assembling and reassembling, making triangles I didn't like, and generally making the final triangles. It made me work harder to make something I'd love even more, thus baby number 2 (previous post) was born.

Wild and crazy I made this and then didn't post about it. This is a kaleidocycle, the second one I have made. I learned the technique from CGB and the first one i made was cute but not as cohesive in palette or pattern as this one. My first child will get its own post.

This program is inkscape, the thing I learned, so I didn't have to buy illustrator lol. I use it for all my planning of beadwork and other things. I drafted triangle pe**te designs that could be used for the final piece, and I couldn't decide between these 6 at first.

The 24 triangles all laid out and ready to assemble!

Two thirds of the "jellyfish" assembly that will then become the final kaleidocycle
