Just me rebelling against conventional pluralization of octopus. So it's one octopus and 3 octopeople. Octopeople are not octopus-human hybrids, nor do they exhibit any human behaviors beyond what we already have observed. Really just me pluralizing octopus in a bizarre way, letting you all see my weirdness immediately. Unless you want to be an octopus-human hybrid. I've seen them in animal crossing so I know you can be one too.

How I'm feeling right now. I completely forgot what book I saw this in, maybe zoey and sassafras?

This time last week, I was in full panic thinking I wasn't finishing this portfolio on time. Now I'm one essay from the finish line and it feels sweet. Gonna be sweeter when the semester is actually over, but finishing this portfolio will certainly hype me to finish strong.

I taught a class on beadweaving, which was a resolution of mine this year. I'm so glad that I chose this space to try, because every mistake or confusion was met with kindness and gentle reminders that we are all people doing our best. I was so mad at myself for making beadweaving frustrating for some folks, but in closing circle was shown how many people really did lock in and enjoy beadweaving.

I made a bunch of different things; learned how to bleach paint and glass etch, but honestly it was more about the friends along the way lol
