🎉 Runner Up: Town of Bath/Berkeley Springs Water Works with The Lamp Leg from A Christmas Story

I hope everyone had a nice holiday! Friendly reminder that meter decorations should be removed by Sunday, December 28th.

That means if you haven't already had the privilege to walk downtown and see these masterpieces in person, do so before Sunday!

We’re missing a leg from one of our meter decorations downtown. It made it through all the high wind gusts this week, so we’re confident it didn’t just blow away.

If anyone saw something — or if you happened to pick it up — please let us know or return it.

Thanks for keeping an eye out and helping us keep downtown festive.

Flying Meter Decorations!

We were just advised that there are multiple parking meter decorations that have taken flight with the wild wind gusts. Please check on your decorations as soon as possible! Our crew will be taking a drive to see what can be salvaged.

If you’ve decorated a parking meter for the season, please take a moment today to check on your display. The wind has been busy since last night, and a few decorations look like they’re ready to take flight.

A quick tighten or adjustment will help keep everything looking great downtown and prevent any accidental “runaway” décor.

I took a drive through town last night and noticed even more meters lit up! I will plan to get some pictures of them soon so everyone can enjoy the full display. Stay tuned, Deck the Meters is really shining this year! ✨

Wow! 🤩 There are some fantastic meter decorations popping up all over town this year. These four are just a small sample of the creativity lining our streets. Give these decorators a big round of applause 👏 they truly deserve it!

If you’ve been assigned a meter and haven’t decorated yet, there’s still time. Please get your decorations out soon!

While you're waiting for the parade to start, take a stroll and admire the festive meters that are decorated! They're not just along 522 and Fairfax Street. We have meter decorations on other side Streets too!

The town's meters are decked just in time for the cocoa crawl tonight and will remained decorated until Christmas! You do not need to feed the meters while Deck the Meters is active, overflow parking tonight will be located at the Train Depot lot.
