Work in progress, I want to capture the rocks in the lake as best I can before I have to leave this place forever.

This place isn’t just my childhood house, it was a formative part of my upbringing. Perhaps all this time since I left Maine in 2007, I’d taken the family home for granted as if it would simply always be there no matter what.

Gone are the days of taking a weekend off from your blue collar job and hoofing it up to the fishing cabin on the lake, nowadays I can’t find a mediocre house in my own hometown for less than $500K.

I could, theoretically, win the lottery and STILL (after taxes) not afford to buy this very house that I grew up in.

My first cycle, my first boyfriend, my first girlfriend, my first “attempt,” etc… all witnessed by these walls. I just hope that whoever continues their story here after me will treat this place with the utmost respect as it deserves. 🌲

I have another video in the works, editing is taking longer than I’d originally hoped, but it’ll also be approximately 15 minutes long. Maybe u/SolutionHappy3402 should stick to content that’s a little closer to their own capability, like Paw Patrol or Cocomelon ☠️
