Quick trip to Kansas City this morning to drop off the guitars for some luthier work with the legendary Scott Pike. Scott’s career in the business has been incredible. Always happy to be getting work done by a true professional 🎸

Dear fellow artists and songwriters, remember to go to Jacob Crabb at Mix Room NWA for your stuff. Follow and share the page so more people know about this gem! It's been one of the most eye opening and enjoyable experiences we've ever had. Just do it. Treat your music to the care we both know it deserves.

Mix Room NWA is now the proud owner of the Lavry Engineering Savitr analog to digital converter. The Lavry Savitr isn’t just another converter, it’s widely regarded as the greatest analog-to-digital converter in the world for those who demand absolute transparency, ultra-low distortion, and the highest fidelity audio.
This is the converter that top mastering and high-end recording engineers swear by because it captures every nuance of the analog source without adding coloration, hype, or artifacts. In blind shootouts and pro comparisons, it consistently stands out for superior depth, imaging, and “truer-to-the-source” accuracy—often outperforming the most legendary units of its kind. If you’re mixing or mastering at the highest level, the difference is major. A mediocre converter smears detail, flattens dynamics, and robs your music of life. The Savitr reveals everything. The clarity, space, transients, and weight, letting your mixes translate flawlessly everywhere. If your ears are trained and your standards are high, the Lavry Savitr is the endgame converter, period.💿🔥🎚️

Big thank you to for sending the Night Terror over to the studio! The Night Terror overdrive is built for heavy palm-muted riffs and summoning the darkest tones, perfect for those who want that tight and aggressive edge without the mud. Excited to use this on some upcoming projects at MixRoom.

Maintenance day at Mix Room! The room has been broken down for a couple weeks preparing for new equipment, which means the patchbay gets an overhaul! I use a Redco Audio 96-point patchbay as it provides a compact, high-density routing hub for this room, letting me connect and re-patch all of my outboard analog gear, using 96 balanced Bantam TT points with DB25 rear connections.
It streamlines my signal flow, enables flexible normalling/grounding options, and keeps my setup organized and reconfigurable without constant rewiring. This piece gets bypassed when clients come in the room of course, but without this powerful 1U tool, the room would not function. Who else is still using patchbays in their setups?
