I just want to take a second and brag on these junior high and high school kids -
This is hands down the most polite, respectful, and kind group of kids we have ever experienced…
It wasn’t just one thing, it was everything. The way they helped each other without being asked. Shared ropes. Took turns. Made sure all of their friends felt included. Looked out for the younger kids.
Every single one had incredible manners, yes ma’am’s and no sirs. You don’t see that every day anymore, and it didn’t go unnoticed. I can’t count the amount of times we were told thank you for being here by these kids.
They picked up their trash at the end of the weekend. They helped us set up and break down. Just plain good humans.
Arizona High School Rodeo Association, you guys and the mama’s and daddy’s out there are doing it right. THANK YOU for raising such incredible kiddos and athletes, and for sharing them with us this weekend!
