🔎 You’ve seen the house. Now meet the people inside.

Six rather interesting individuals are gathering at the Oft/Gordon House for one most unfortunate evening...

There’s Beatrice, who expects her talents to be appreciated.
Evangeline, who believes every moment deserves a little theatricality.
Prudence, who prefers to let movement do the talking.
Percival, who would probably rather you not ask about the toad.
Aurora, who has a... thing for spoons. 🥄
And Mrs. Fairweather, the picture of a perfectly gracious hostess.

Surely spending an evening with this group couldn’t go terribly wrong...right? 🕯️

Swipe to meet the suspects.

Then join us for Mystery Evening: A Most Unfortunate Evening at the Oft/Gordon House, October 16 & 17.

🎟️ Very limited seating. Tickets available now:

🔎 After you’ve met all six, tell us: Who are you already suspicious of?

🎭 Acting Up was in full swing yesterday!

From reading scripts and exploring characters to thinking on their feet and bringing scenes to life, our young performers spent the afternoon doing what theatre kids do best: getting creative, working together, and having FUN!

We love watching their confidence grow, friendships form, and imaginations take center stage. ❤️

A special thank you to McGuigan Arts Academy for partnering with us to create opportunities for these young performers to learn, explore, and shine!

✨ Big imaginations. Bold choices. Bright futures on stage.

🔎 Six rooms. Six suspects. One killer.

Now you know you're part of the investigation.

But exactly what are you getting yourself into?

After a most unfortunate turn of events at the Oft/Gordon House, you'll be sent into the house to uncover the truth.

🚪 Enter each room.
👀 Search for evidence hidden in plain sight.
🔎 Question the suspect waiting inside.
⏳ You have just five minutes.

Then you'll hear it...

The manor bell.

Your time is up. Move to the next room.

Six rooms. Six stories. Six people with a reason to lie.
And when the final bell rings, you'll have to decide who did it.

Think you've got what it takes to crack the case?

🎄 And just like that... rehearsals have begun! 🎄

Our cast of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever gathered for their very first read-through tonight, and in true BCPE fashion, things went exactly according to plan. 😂

Our scripts didn't arrive in time, so we improvised and printed copies to share. No problem!

Except...

Page 15 went directly to page 20.
Page 27 went directly to page 34.
And somewhere along the way, approximately 15 pages of our Christmas pageant simply ceased to exist. 🔥

So we shared scripts, hunted down missing scenes, laughed a lot, and somehow made our way through the story together.

Honestly?

We wouldn't have wanted our first rehearsal any other way. ❤️

The chaos has officially begun, and we have one wonderfully game cast ready to jump into it with us.

There it is. That's why we wanted to do this. 🎄❤️

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is officially underway.

What could possibly go wrong? 🔥😂

Lance Sindelar as Cecil Haversham
The Play That Goes Wrong

🏆 Outstanding Youth Performer

What makes this especially meaningful is seeing the work happening right here in our little corner of the theatre community recognized alongside incredible artists and organizations from across the Omaha metro.

From a production where nearly everything went spectacularly wrong 😏 to a wonderfully ooky, spooky summer with the Addams family, these shows were built by casts, crews, volunteers, families, audiences and supporters who continue to show up for community theatre in Bennington.

We are SO proud of Big Lance, Lil Lance, Hanna, and everyone who helped bring these productions to life. ❤️

Congratulations to all of this year’s OEA Award nominees! We are incredibly honored to be among you.

🎭 Four nominations. Two productions. One very proud little theatre.
