🥂 A retirement celebration deserves something memorable!

A former coworker and longtime friend recently asked Rampant Designs to create something special for his wife Tammy’s retirement celebration. The result was 48 custom-engraved glasses, each featuring the perfectly appropriate message:

“Every sip tastes like not my problem anymore.” 😄

From setup and production to seeing the finished glasses in use, this was a fun project to bring to life—and Tammy’s smile says it all.

Congratulations, Tammy! Here’s to retirement, new adventures, and enjoying every sip. We look forward to seeing what your next chapter looks like! 🎉

A special project came through the shop today as part of a larger restoration being completed by Dave’s Gunsmithing .

This older break-action shotgun originally belonged to the customer’s grandfather. She is having it restored so she can present it as a meaningful gift to her stepfather. Dave brought the stock to Rampant Designs to have the stepfather’s nickname, “Tinker,” engraved into the wood.

Projects like this are about much more than customization—they help preserve family history and give a treasured firearm a new chapter.

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted — and we apologize for leaving everyone hanging.

The laser shop has been busy filling orders and working on some America 250 tumbler, decanter and glassware designs that we’ll be sharing soon.

Meanwhile, the wood shop has been ramping up with some new handcrafted items including our 3-in-1 kitchen tool, spurtle, mini scraper spatula, and some really cool baby spoons modeled after a spoon Jim actually dug up during our front yard renovation.

The utensils in this photo are made from (darkest to lightest): walnut, cherry, and tiger maple. We’ll also have additional species available soon including acacia, olive, padauk, oak, and more.

We’ve got several more designs in the queue as well, including additional spoons, spatulas, pasta scoops, pot strainers, chip bag clips, and more.

A lot of sawdust, a little history, and plenty of new ideas have been coming together around here lately. We’d also love to hear your ideas for kitchen items you’d like to see us make.
