To the ladies at work last night, both Food Rite and DG, Thank you. Without your kindness, I would have a ruined piece. None of my stain removers could get the yellow chalk lines out. A combination of Zote and Scrubbing Bubbles (Who knew!?!) did the trick! My gratitude is beyond measure.

The hours spent on this quilt surpass any other worked on as the hexagons are an inch a piece and COMPLETELY sewn by hand. Lessons were learned. Never use colored chalk on pale fabric. 😅

I will never get over how gorgeous this block is! Stay tuned for the finished quilt!!

This “heart shaped, with pink and blue swirls, and a flamingo cake, that tastes like a flamingo (strawberry)” request was accepted and completed. I love bringing a birthday girl’s exact vision to life — especially when it’s this fun and creative.
