The Inclusion Festival is a free, family-friendly community celebration honoring Disability Pride, diverse abilities, and accessibility. Hosted by Whatcom Center for Early Learning, the festival invites all residents and visitors to connect, play, learn, and belong. In addition to celebration, the festival serves as a vital access point to resources that support basic needs and long-term wellbeing

By bringing together services and supports in one inclusive, easy-to-navigate space, the Inclusion Festival helps reduce common barriers such as transportation, awareness, and system navigation, making it easier for families to access care and support. Through connection, visibility, and community engagement, the festival fosters inclusion while creating pathways for individuals and families to build stability, strengthen relationships, and thrive.

Nature's Path Helps Make Inclusion More Accessible

We're excited to share that Nature's Path has generously donated 15 cases of food to support a Free Snack Booth at the Inclusion Festival this Sunday.

As food insecurity continues to rise in our community, we believe everyone should be able to enjoy a full day of connection, celebration, and belonging, regardless of their ability to purchase food. Creating access to food is one more way we're working to make the Inclusion Festival welcoming and accessible for all.

We'll have several incredible local food and beverage vendors onsite, and if you're able, we highly encourage you to support them throughout the day:

Seashells Coffee and Treats
Girly Pop Soda Shop

Cicchitti's Pizza

DISH Foundation

At the same time, we understand that purchasing food isn't possible for everyone. Thanks to Nature's Path's generosity, festival attendees can grab free snacks throughout the day and stay energized while enjoying everything the festival has to offer.

A huge thank you to Nature's Path for helping us ensure that everyone can participate, connect, and enjoy the Inclusion Festival to the fullest.

WCEL had a fantastic evening at the Bellingham Bells game!

A special shoutout to Jenna for singing the National Anthem and representing our community so well. We also loved connecting with fans and sharing information about the upcoming Inclusion Festival.

We'll see you this Sunday at Zuanich Point Park for a day of music, art, community, and celebration.
