What a blast to discover three unexpected artists surrounded by bikes and neighbors at at Trek Bicycle Bellingham last Thursday!

Thank you to for sharing their new TAHOMA set, for pulling us onto the dance floor with his vocoder grooves, and for debuting their new name and lineup with us.

And as always, gratitude to the people behind the scenes who make these rooms warm and safe for discovery: Gabby, GM of Trek, for opening this unusual space to music; .rum for capturing the night; and for welcoming guests and keeping everything running smoothly.

Saturday's end-of-summer garden party at Ferny’s Nursery was the perfect way to mark the turn of the season — and a truly special evening. Thank you to everyone who braved the brisk weather to support three incredible local artists and discover a beautiful native plant nursery right here in Bellingham. 🌿

Huge gratitude to the musicians who shared their art with us. Jacob C. Seyer opened the night with impressively intricate percussive fingerstyle guitar. Shelby Natasha🧦 brought the vibes with her self-produced guzheng folk-R&B, joined by Josh Pehrson on drums. And The Unknowns closed out the night with their signature blend of Americana, jazz, and three-part harmonies.

Many thanks to Nick, Dylan, and Max at Ferny’s Nursery for hosting us in their dreamy outdoor space. A show surrounded by native plants was a goal for Sofar Bellingham from day one, and we couldn't have done it without them — go check out their plant selection and classes!

And shoutout to our crew, who make a warm, welcoming, and safe night possible: Bella Faye on event operations, Mike McGinn on sound, and Kris Gray Photography with these gorgeous photos.
