Metagross Hiya, I'm Metagross. This page is dedicated to the greatest Pokemon ever plus whatever else occupies my four brains.

Expect JRPGs, card games, and lots of Pokemon. //-(^X^)-\\ Now that that's out of the way, this is Metagross a fan page for Pokemon #376 in the national Pokedex "Metagross"

Metagross is a Steel/Psychic dual typed Pokemon that is considered to be one of the Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon, a Pokemon with base stats totaling 600 and not a unique Legendary Pokemon. Metagross received a Mega Evolution with

the release of the 2014 titles Pokemon OmegaRuby & Alpha Sapphire. This page will post about all things Metagross, including fan art, trading cards, video game movesets and tricks, appearances in media, and more. of course when I'm NOT Posting about Metagross you can expect posts related to other video games that may or not be Nintendo. I'll pretty much post about almost any game I'm playing at the moment, though most will be JRPGs.

I booted up Sword & Shield on the Switch 2 and while the game didn’t get a full update like Scarlet & Violet did I was taken aback at how much smoother the battles ran. When the game is running at a stable framerate the battles pop in a way no other Switch-era game does!

But at the same time… not all of the game looks like this.

Sword & Shield might be one of the most polarizing Pokémon game in terms of visuals. There’s some environments that look pretty nice, battles look really impressive, and at its best the game’s art direction does work in a way Scarlet & Violet just doesn’t.

But in other places, particularly the open Wild Areas, you see the warning signs of why Scarlet & Violet looks the way it does, embarrassingly incomplete visuals that let the game down.

I booted up Sword & Shield again mostly to grab a few Ribbons but I’m glad I got to see the battles running at a smoothness they just never did when I played on Switch 1. Allows me to see what heights the game was reaching for even if it didn’t always get there.

Pokopia has a new event starring Jirachi and the opening dialogue embodies the amazing attention to detail in this game.

Remember, the player is a Ditto! You copy whatever is in front of you, so when Jirachi asks the typical question of what wish you want it to grant. Ditto turns it around and asks Jirachi what wish it wants granted!

You copy the question and surprise Jirachi with something novel! Nobody ever asks Jirachi what IT wants! Leading to the event story where you help grant the wishes of all the Pokémon in your town.

Pokopia is both cute AND very thoughtful in how it is constructed.
