Below is an original copy of a poem out of my Eclectic collection book of poetry,
SOPHIA’S SCRUPLES and INTERNAL THOUGHTS in Poetry.
This poem was first published in National Library of Poetry in 1996, volume “A Muse to Follow”
Reminded Of Your Spirit
I can’t help to wonder, how minuscule my time is,
here on this planet.
As I gaze outward and above, I see this universe,
realizing inifinity overwhelms my soul.
For we are each merely a particle,
comprising this vast world.
It makes me aware of our duty to ourselves and,
You, even more prevalent
notwithstanding.
For we all have a small amount of time,
to make an imprint worthwhile.
Interestingly enough, I’m profoundly
enchanted with
Your challenge You’ve presented us.
Graciously, I embrace it, and accept all
that You have given, every act, word,
deed, thought, and creativity has me
captured, as well as renewed.
Emphasizing, Your importance with
certainty, reinforces our own inner
strength, courage, morality, and
beauty, which stimulates us back into
the universe.
