A little kindness goes a long way! 🚌💛 Our Mid-Maine Technical Center Business students and The Belle of Belgrade bus teamed up for the Belle’s Waterville Kindness Cruise, spreading smiles, giving out gifts, sharing positive messages, and connecting with our downtown community!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, USOA Ms. Maine, Mrs. Waterville 2026, and the owners of Home Baked, The Robin's Nest, The Finery, TECHY Waterville, for making this experience possible.

The whole class had a blast! For many students, it was their first time discovering some of these downtown spots. They loved meeting the people behind the businesses, seeing how happy people were by the kind gestures, those who loved the tech center and seeing what’s available right here in our community.

Back in class, we connected the experience to how downtowns and Main Streets work and bring businesses and people together. Learning goes beyond the classroom and sometimes the best lessons start with a bus and a little kindness shared amongst a community! Great day for everyone involved!

Watching us thrift. Watching us visiting the best indie bookstores in Maine. Watching a bus full of strangers somehow become friends before we even make it to the second stop.

So I’m just going to say it…GET ON THE BUS. 🚌

Calling all of my “I’ll just pop in for a minute” people who somehow come out of the thrift store 90 minutes later carrying a lamp, three sweaters and the coolest earrings. Ever. THIS RIDE IS FOR YOU.

We’re loading up the Belle Bus for a full-on Maine thrift adventure and for the next one we are all wearing mullet wigs (ok, we won't require it, but it's so fun) and we're hitting multiple thrift stops, hunting for treasures, and seeing what everyone manages to drag back onto the bus.

Come with your bestie. Come by yourself. Seriously. A LOT of people get on this bus not knowing anyone and they are a true baddie!

There are still seats left and I would LOVE to fill this bus with people who appreciate the thrill of finding something amazing for $4.

And Afterpay is available so in girl math, it's a definite YES.
