🔥WEEKEND RECAP🔥

Our first travel race event of the year was a huge success and all around fun ! We got to the track early and got set up at rock castle speedway who had a really nice pit area and over all facility. Great people down there at the rock made us feel welcome right away !

Big tire cars hit the track and we were able to see all the character that the track was gonna have for us through the night and it was very intimidating ! Finally it was time for hot laps and the kids hit the red clay for the first time of the night. Aeyla went out in the first group and ended up setting 3rd overall fast time for hot lap/ qualifying. Logan made the decision to pull in after hot laps ending his night. Track conditions were outside of his experience level and he did not want to continue and damage his race car or risk injuring himself. He made a mature decision in which we were proud of him for making and he finished the night cheering for his big sister.

The track bit back on the cars causing some damage to a few and something rattled Aeyla throttle setup causing it to stick and give everyone a scare in staging for the heat race but we got it sorted and her head back in the game. Rolled off for the heat race in a stacked group and pulled off a P2 finish setting her up to start 3rd in the feature. She had a very fast car but was a bit short of the two boys running ahead of her she had one spin out resulting in some major damage to the right rear deck work and spoiler she shook it off and pulled right back to third place where she waited for the opportunity for the two front runners to slip but they never did ultimately finishing third overall out of the best talent around! Great trip this weekend full of learning and memories. Couple rivets a bit of metal and some pep talks and we’re ready to sling dirt again at our local tracks this weekend !!!

😁🏁🏁

We want to give a shout out to Team Jarvis Racing driver Aeyla Jarvis, this girl showed courage at Rockcastle Speedway last night, the track was a little rough and Mother Nature was definitely fighting us last night. This girl went and qualified and her accelerator kept sticking, she pulled in and was nervous but she gulped down some water, collected herself and went out there and placed 3rd overall, Good Show of courage and sportsmanship from this one.

The mini wedges are taking over at The Rock ! Looking like a good turnout for the kiddos ! Thank you Rockcastle Speedway for the hospitality !! These kids are ready to get down in the red Kentucky clay tonight for a big purse ! Good luck to all of our little buddies racing tonight at Princeton ! We will see you guys next week at the local tracks !

Busy week ahead as the team gears up to go to Rockcastle Speedway for the working man 50 event ! Biggest race of the year for mini wedges ! Huge purse and all the best talent around ! We’re hoping for safe travels and podium finishes ! Hate that we will be missing fan night at Princeton but we will be back in action at Princeton and beckley the following weekend ! We haven’t done much traveling this year due to the cost of fuel and time away from work so the kids are very excited about this one ! The 141 legend car will enjoy a week off this week but will be ready for action the following weekend at our local tracks.

🏁🔥WEEKEND RECAP!!!🔥🏁

Lil mean 14 (Aeyla)
Princeton : Pill draw got Aeyla outside pole for a good start where she was very competitive but ultimately dropped two spots to finish 4th. We are still having trouble making speed at Princeton but good solid run
Beckley: Drew a 7th place start and quickly moved up to 2nd behind a very fast car that we just couldn’t seem to have anything for. The battle for second between her and the 10 was intense for the entire race ! Very good show put on by the two of them Aeyla was able to hold on and finish a strong second place ! We will be back to the drawing board to secure a victory at Beckley very soon

41 Logan:
Princeton: started outside pole in the junior class and showed some awesome speed ! We’re finally getting away from the throttle romping and figuring things out. He did fall back to the more experienced kids but had a great run showing lots of improvement!
Beckley: Again he drew outside pole and took off looking like he was really gonna put on some speed but after one lap his chain broke and he pulled it in ending his night. Quality seat time for the little guy this week !

141 Dad:
Princeton: improvements in speed and control were starting to show and comfort was setting in In the heat race when all of the sudden he was passed….. by his front left tire !!!! That’s right memory failed and we forgot to torque the lugs. Thanks to some good buddies we were able to continue and start the feature soaking up all the quality seat time and learning every lap ! Started 12th and finished 12 out of 17 cars
Beckley: more excitement for ole dad as the cars cooling fans caught on fire during qualifying hot laps!! Really found some trust and comfort in the car in the feature running on the 17 second lap time area which was the goal for the night ! More to come from 141 getting better every race !

So many people to thank but especially Cory in the 429 and his dad for giving me some great advice and help every week ! Good people !
