I got a message from this customer earlier this week with their sign hung up!

I absolutely love getting these! 😊

The want was to try and still have the loon. And make it look better!

What do you guys think?

All hand routered! (But I made stencils with my scroll saw to make sure it looked almost perfect 👌)! But that loon, I didnt even practice that. I just went for it! (I just followed a print out of a loon but it's always scary if you get caught up on something it can go bad quick 😅😬) I was very hesitant to even promise him a loon!

It all worked out!

"Isn't that what it's supposed to do?" 🤔

Today we had the opportunity to deliver and see the sign get hung. I must say it couldn't have gone better. 😊

As I was explaining to him about what we did to make it more weather durable. I let him know that we used a outdoor polyurethane on the wood and the letters are powder coated. As far as the tin and the heads of the nails they will rust over time especially being in an outdoor environment. He responded with "Isn't that what it's supposed to do?"

Sometimes I worry that people don't understand that. Definitely not this guy, he understood the idea behind my idea! ✨️

This was such a fun sign to make! I can't wait to see it hanging at the customers H***h Shack! ***h

One of the 4 custom orders complete, 2 partially done and the last one's wood is cut and ready to be started! 🪚✔️

✨️Here is a start to finish✨️

This table has a 30" top, 22" shelf and is 26" tall! Complete with 1 1/2 " red oak 🍁 on the top and 3/4" on the bottom shelf.

It turned out beautiful 😍

We had the opportunity to do the Phelps Mill festival a couple weekends ago in Underwood MN.

This year I backed off of doing every and any show we could get into. I specifically wanted this one (granted it was an expensive show to get into but we had faith). It was a juried art show, meaning we were judged on our products and our set up. We got in! Let's just say it trumped almost all my shows combined last year! We even got 4 custom orders while we were there! We have one more show planned for this year. Then its back to the drawing board and just creating things for next year!

As we still both work full-time and have lots of other hobbies it's so hard to find time for it all sometimes! But we do really love creating things and seeing something so simple become so beautiful!
