The newest member of the family!

Meet Jack! He is a 2.5 year old Dumerils Boa. They are from Madagascar and not the most common snakes. So I was thrilled to find him and bring him home.

He is as sweet and docile as they are known to be!

So a thing happened this morning....
My usual morning routine consists of getting my coffee, getting one of my snakes, and plopping down on my couch to do my devotions.
This morning, Cookie, our sugar pastel ball python, was much more curious and active than normal.
I was talking to my daughter for a moment and looked down and Cookie had gone through the handle of my mug! (She was probably enjoying the warmth)
Now, she is a thick girl! I wasn't sure she was going to make it through.
I am happy to say after some interesting gymnastics, she made it out.
Always something exciting over here! Never a dull moment.

Sweet potato, our female bearded dragon, LOVES her veggies.

She was born with jaw malformation so sometimes when she gets the food on the left side she struggles to eat, so we give her a little assistance.

Little 'Shroom. He's such a curious guy.
He is a leopard pinstripe vpi axantic pied ball python and he's a beauty.
Born in July '25 he is our smallest/youngest snake, but he is growing fast!

This dubia colony started with only 20 adults less than a year ago.

These guys thrive when given ideal living conditions and lots of quality food.

We love our bugs and so do our reptiles! ❤️
