“Beauty & Splendor” 🌻

This piece was so special to me and was truly an honor to cultivate. It was commissioned by my good sis, Taneka 💛
She wanted this piece to be a gentle reminder of what God says about her! That she is indeed fearfully and wonderfully made in His image! She also mentioned she wanted to be in a field of flowers, instead of lilies she wanted sunflowers.
God placed the song “Jireh” and the phrase “Beauty & Splendor” on my heart🥹 which led me to Matthew 6:28-30
“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”
Not only was this a reminder for her but for me as well. If God watches over the birds and the flowers, then how much more will he do for me. The one he gave dominion over those very things in the beginning? This spoke to identity & authority. In God we have all we need and in Him we are who he has called us to be.
He sees, he hears, he knows. He’s sovereign
