✨ It’s finished! ✨

After 67 hours of painting at the Gage County Fairgrounds this mural is officially complete! 🎨

A heartfelt thank you to the Gage County Fair Board for inviting us to create this mural and for your encouragement and support every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to leave a lasting piece of art that celebrates the Gage County Fair and the community it brings together.

Most importantly, congratulations to our amazing student artists. Three students faithfully showed up day after day, while four more jumped in whenever their schedules allowed. Together, they poured their talent, creativity, patience, and countless brushstrokes into this project. Their commitment transformed an idea into something the entire community can enjoy for years to come, and I couldn’t be prouder of what they accomplished.

To everyone who stopped by to cheer us on, asked questions, or shared kind words -thank you. We hope this mural brings a smile to everyone who visits the fairgrounds.
Here’s to celebrating community, creativity, and another chapter in the story of the Gage County Fair. ❤️🎡🌽

Since Mother Nature had other plans for our paint day this morning… 🌧️ I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible students behind this mural.

They’ve brought this design to life with so much care, patience, and precision. Working on a wall with so much character isn’t always easy, but they’ve embraced the challenge and created something that makes you forget the texture is even there. Their talent, attention to detail, and dedication have transformed this space into something truly special, and I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished. I am excited to post photos of its completion next week (as long as Mother Nature cooperates). 🎨❤️

One big step closer! Today we added the Ferris wheel, sharpened the outlines, and kept refining the details. Just a handful of finishing touches remain before this mural is complete. 🎨🌽🎡

We couldn’t do it without these three dedicated students and the families that support them. ❤️
