Delicious All-You-Can-Eat Menu:
Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes Sausage, Juice, Cereal, Fruit and Coffee.

Santa, from the North Pole, will be present to hear each child’s Christmas wishes!!

Santa Photos - $2 per instant photo.
You are most welcome to freely take pictures with your own camera.

Santa is Coming to Town video plays continuously.
The toy train layout will be up and running.

UMCVFD is Expanding!

UMCVFD recently added the responsibilities of swift water rescue to its list of services. UMCVFD now has two complete swift water rescue units. Each unit is complete with a primary boat and a secondary boat, plus a tow vehicle that carries additional rescue equipment.

With the addition of the swift water rescue apparatus and planned additional units, UMCVFD needed to expand. The expansion project is well underway. The construction of three new drive-through bays began just a few weeks ago.

Huge "Thank You" to the UMCVFD Auxiliary.
Saturday, March 7th, was the first use of the new CPR training manikins and AEDs. We had a very full class. We needed and used all of the adult and infant manikins, and all of the AEDs. The class went smoothly because we had the proper equipment.
The next class is Friday with 20 Poolesville Town Staff at the Poolesville Town Hall. The new equipment will again be put to good use.
Again, my Thanks to the UMCVFD Auxiliary for funding the CPR training equipment.

FYI…. I just wanted to let you all know that the Auxiliary, from UMCVFD, bought our company a Lucas 2, from your support. The Lucas 2 will be put on our Paramedic Unit at the fire house. With the County help we were able to buy this one, from grants, for around $13,000 instead of the $20,000 or so they cost. The County pays for us to have one, which we have on our Ambulance, BUT if our Ambulance goes out we are without one. Now we have another one. This is thanks to all of you coming to our Bingo’s and hiring us to do your functions. The Lucas 2 is a CPR chest compression machine. Yes, people can do this by hand but it is a lot of work to do that from our county to the hospital. It really wears them out so this will make sure if you are having a heart attack that you have a better chance at making it to the hospital. I understand this gave us all a 50% better chance to make it to the hospital. YES, your support is so important and we thank you!

Busy day @ Station #14. America Bike Ride. Started from D.C. and stopped @ the firehouse for lunch...went on to Frederick for the night. They will start their ride again in the morning....bike ride will end in Gettysburg.
