My name is Jacky Gamble, and I am a professional genealogist specializing in research in northern and central Vermont. I began researching my own genealogy almost 10 years ago, and quickly found myself deeply intrigued (or otherwise obsessed) with it. I have conducted research at town archives, libraries, cemeteries, courthouses, and on-line. I have read many books and articles related to genealogy. I am also an active member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865. I am also taking the steps necessary to earn my accreditation and certification in genealogy.
