Neighbor found an axe outside her house near the trash bins. She brought it to me today... little creepy and a little fun!

Might restore it, might make it into something really cool.

Actually a nice little axe. Splits logs easily.

Sometimes things start to go right. And a piece really starts to come together. Like this one.

I've been struggling to get the top of this end table just right. But tonight, with the fire roaring in the woodshop (it was a brisk 80 degrees in there), I finally got the ink stains out of the top!

Sometimes it's better to repair that replace. This old door knob threads had become misaligned. Luckily with my old trusty tap and die set, we were able to re-thread it.

10 minute repair. Zero cost to fix.

Finally delivered the lighthouse to it's new home in Coventry!

The light house is done and ready for delivery tomorrow! Get excited 😁 It ended up just over 6 ft tall fully assembled and is completely hollow at the bottom to accommodate the well head it will be covering. The customers picked out the color scheme and I think they'll really like it. And of course i went with a toggle switch, because, why not?

The team (and by team I mean Karen) is beginning the final finishes. Sanding, a dark finish stain, and 5-7 coats of polyurethane to make it shine. It's all coming together!
