Peppergrass (often called pepperweed) are native to Texas. These plants belong to the mustard family and get their name from the peppery, spicy flavor of their leaves and seed pods.
Some call it the "poor man's pepper". Call me poor, cause we harvest it to use in spicing up our meals!
