So sometimes I end up with really cool stuff that I don't travel with, this is one of them! The coolest wet specimen jar (or just a jar to collect). This is an antique Millville Atmospheric Fruit Jar in aquamarine glass, originally patented by Whitall, Tatum & Company on June 18, 1861. It features a characteristic glass lid held in place by an iron yoke clamp and a central thumbscrew. Referred to by lots of collectors as a "Tatum Jar". 10 inches tall, I cleaned the outside to double check for cracks or chips, it's perfect and still even has the rubber seal on the lid. Haven't cleaned inside or messed with opening, I'll leave that to the discretion of whoever owns it next. If you're interested in being the next owner of this incredible jar send me a DM. Philly! We had a time didn’t we? I got to meet tons of people I already knew from the interwebs, I got to vend with my favorites all under one roof, I got to see some friends, and work while I did all of that. Super fun, last one with the for the year which is a bummer but on to some other local stuff for right now. See yous back out there! Same location in two weeks for the punk rock flea market!
