Bancroft had a blast hosting RAGBRAI today! The atmosphere was incredible, and it was a true joy to welcome so many riders to our community. Bancroft is so excited to host There's A Farmer in My Classroom, a local non-profit, on Tuesday while RAGBRAI is in town. There's a Farmer in My Classroom offers programs that connect students to Iowa farms, fostering an understanding of agriculture.

They're bringing the classroom outdoors that day and bikers will have a special opportunity to take photos with farm animals at their photo booth! Stop by, take a picture, and support this fantastic organization!

Attention Volunteers & Visitors!

In an effort to keep everyone safe, the Bancroft RAGBRAI route will begin shutting down on Tuesday, July 22nd @ 7AM and will remain closed to vehicle traffic until 3 PM. This map shows the bike route (blue line) and the roads that will be closed. If you're local or volunteering, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with this map and plan your travel accordingly.

Celebrate RAGBRAI's Vintage Day with a trip back in time at Bancroft Memorial Ballpark! Located just off the route, our historic baseball field offers a calm oasis away from the crowds.

Step into a piece of baseball history at Bancroft Memorial Ballpark, built in 1948. This very community nurtured the talents of Major League All-Star Denis Menke, who graced the field in the 1960s, and Joe Hatten, a Major Leaguer who famously played alongside Jackie Robinson.
