📣 We are excited to welcome TWO new businesses to our community during the festival!
🥁 The Marching Elite, 4712 Harford Road (across the street from Zeke’s Coffee)
In 2001, two college students came home to Baltimore City to the decline of proper music education within the community. In the band room of Baltimore City College High School, two students came together to form small community classes for youth all around Baltimore City to learn music. Impressed by the youths’ commitment and dedication to music education, on June 20, 2006, The Marching Elite Foundation was born. Elite is known for their unique and entertaining shows that consistently bring audiences to their feet.
➡️The Marching Elite will set up 11am - 2pm at their new location to chat with the community about their programs and missions. Catch the band in action along Harford Road leading everyone to the Hart Festival at Wisteria Ave & Richard Ave.

🤡 The Carnival Flea at the Raven’s Beak, 5422 Harford Road

Shop vintage clothing, decor, comics, collectibles, handmade Jewelry by Alexis Vassilaros and more. Laurent Hrybyk, the dedicated volunteer that created and maintains the Hart Festival website, is the featured local artist of the month.

These lovely humans are the heart of the Hart, Pints & Plants festival 💗 This team of dedicated volunteers has given a lot of time, talent, experience, creativity, and energy into organizing and promoting this dynamic event. We hope you all will join us on Saturday for a fun day filled with beer, plants & art!
🍺 Raise your glass with us Friday June 5th at Silver Queen Cafe! We’ll treat ourselves to food and drink after we paint planters at Mid-Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts & along Harford Road! And a big shout out to Silver Queen Cafe for hosting our meetings, as well as being one of the driving forces behind making this festival happen this year!
🤝 We appreciate The Lauraville Fair’s support, and for being our fiscal sponsor! We also had some help from Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street’s promotions team, as well as sponsorship from Hamilton Community Association and the Hamilton Business Association. Shout out to our volunteer webmaster Laurent for making SO many updates to the site in the blink of an eye. It takes a village, and we are lucky to have a great one! 💗
🩰 We are grateful for our Hart Festival hosts, the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts. We are looking forward to their performance at 3:40pm Saturday!

✨ Vendor Spotlight: Wood Designs by Adiante Franszoon.
Adiante Franszoon, a Mayfield resident, uses natural woods of many colors to create coasters, cutting/charcuterie boards of many sizes and shapes, earrings, furniture and more. He carves wood with designs inspired by his Suriname African diaspora heritage to create mirror & picture frames, wall art and table tops. Mr. Franszoon makes console tables using dowel and biscuit joinery; and mosaic pattern wood earrings and pendants for necklaces and bracelets. His shop is located in Waverly, and you can browse some of his beautiful and functional pieces at the Hart Festival 3-7pm located at the corner of Wisteria Avenue and Richard Avenue.
Adiante Franszoon Wood Carvings will be joined by many other vendors displaying their paintings, collages, photographs, zines, food, drinks, and more!
